The United States, on the Mississippi river. Gold fever is at its height.

In the small town of Oklahoma, in Kiowa County, Texas, Wyatt Berry is the newly appointed sheriff, ready to lay down the law and protect his citizens. But this is no easy task since the outlaw John Blake “The Fast” is at large and means to steal all the gold that the cowboys are collecting. Wyatt Berry will have to confront this dangerous enemy.

But Berry is not alone - he can count on the help of Sitting Buffalo, his faithful Cheroke Indian deputy, and Mabel Glamour, a beautiful saloon dancer who he is madly in love with.
