THE HOUND OF THE BASKERVILLES
212b Baker Street. An apartment in central London, residence of Dr. Watson and the renowned Sherlock Holmes. Sir Henry Baskerville comes to visit - he is a handsome gentleman who has recently inherited the Devonshire family mansion, but is terrified that he too will fall victim to the curse that has haunted his whole family before him: to be killed by the fangs of the evil hound which preys on the Baskervilles.
Holmes decides to go with Sir Henry to his new residence and when they arrive he meets Sir Stapleton and a woman who claims to be his sister. Both are involved in the criminal plotting and will be the object of Holmes’s detailed investigation.
The surprise comes when, once at the Baskerville residence, it becomes clear that Holmes is not as good an investigator as his reputation would suggest, and that it is in fact Watson who cracks all the cases.
A parody which takes us back to the early 20th century, into the heart of this classic story, with laughter and fun guaranteed.
